At LP Steel we have all the materials to build your own shade. We have engineered
kits for shed rows and mare motels that come with all the materials you will need to
insall it excluding concrete. Or if you want a custom size shade, we can figure out what
materials you will need to build it. Our kits are designed to screw together
with self tapping screws, no welding required.
PBR Panel
We stock galvanized, tan and white 26ga R-panel. We can custom cut any length you
want from 5' - 25'. The R panel gives a 3' width of coverage, so take the width of
your shade and divide it by 3 which will equal the number of sheets required to
cover the area. All we need is deposit of at least half down and 48 hours to run
them. We can take your order over the phone and we will call you when its ready for
pick up. If you want a color we don't stock give us a call and we will find it for
you. At the Laveen and Avondale locations we can run the galvanized at the time of payment.
Track and Purlin
We roll our own track and purlin made from galvanized 16ga material. Its actually a
stiffened 16ga which means we roll them with additional ribs down the back side for
added rigidity. We stock 4", 6" and 8" widths with a 2" lip. 10" width is also
available but are special order. The purlin are similar to the track but have an
additional 1/2" lip and go inside the tracks as seen below.

Clamp on Shades
If you want something temporary to put up we also sell clamp on shades that come in
12' wide x 8' deep or 16' wide x 8' deep. We make our clamp on shades with the same
track and purlin system but instead of concreting the posts in the ground you get
4 clamp-on legs which clamp to the top of your corral panels. They come preassembled
so all you have to do is screw on the legs and clamp it on. Don't buy a junky pipe
frame shade when you can have a quality product for less!
